Alcohol content

Overview

Malandrino is an unusual and intriguing white wine, made from Vermentino grapes and classified as IGT Toscana Bianco. The 2023 vintage offered grapes with an alcohol content of 13%, thanks to a slightly late harvest that helped highlight its aromatic character and remarkable structure.

Vinification

The vinification and refinement of Malandrino take place entirely in steel at low temperatures, preserving freshness and typical Vermentino aromas, while also offering an unexpectedly structured character.

Tasting notes

In the glass, Malandrino shows a straw-yellow color with intense aromas of ripe fruit, citrus and a mineral note that makes way for a light floral nuance. On the palate, this wine is vibrant and fresh, with excellent acidity and a lingering sapid finish. Its aromatic complexity and structure make it the perfect companion for seafood, salads, soft cheeses, and light white meat dishes.

Not only | La Banditaccia

La Banditaccia is an ancient estate already appearing on Leopoldine maps from the 1700s, located in the heart of one of the most unspoiled valleys of Tuscany, at the foot of Monte Amiata. The property spans 110 hectares around the 18th-century farmhouse, surrounded by woods, olive groves, vineyards, lavender fields, and a large recently planted hazelnut grove. It’s the perfect place to leave behind the chaos of the city and be embraced by nature. At night, the estate enjoys such seclusion that one can admire the stunning starry sky in complete silence, while listening to the sounds of nocturnal animals. La Banditaccia is the ideal place for a relaxing stay, a base for exploring the natural and historical wonders of the area, or a charming venue for private events and celebrations.
