Our excellences

Polesse

Obtained from Merlot grapes combined with small percentages of native vines, vinified in steel at constant temperatures and then aged in barriques for over 12 months, obtaining an austere and full-bodied wine, with olfactory hints of red berries and balsamic notes that they find themselves on the palate, as well as a pleasant savory note, which binds to elegant and rightly persistent tannins. It goes well with all red meats and even aged cheeses. 14%

Vigna Allegra Riserva

Our Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG Riserva. A powerful wine of great character obtained from grapes harvested entirely from the vineyard of the same name located at an altitude of more than 500 meters, it was vinified and aged for over 14 months in large oak vats, then aged in large barrels for another 14 months and elevated in the bottle for at least 6 months. The result is an explosion of complex olfactory and gustatory scents, ranging from red berries to undergrowth, from spices to balsamic, with excellent acidity and pronounced but pleasant tannins. It goes well with elaborate and juicy timbales of pasta and meat dishes or aged cheeses, but it is also enhanced after a meal, in conversation or in silence. 15%

Zeferino

Our CRU. A great Sangiovese obtained from the selection of our best grapes, vinified in steel, aged for over two years in small wood and aged for a few months in glass. Only a few numbered bottles were produced this year, also in the Magnum version. Robust and structured wine but of great elegance and complexity, with excellent acidity and balanced tannins, it is balanced between nose and mouth, with complex and enveloping hints where spices and balsamic tones prevail. It goes well with great dishes, but prefers the seclusion of the meal on important evenings. 15.5%

Not only | La Banditaccia

La Banditaccia is an ancient estate already appearing on Leopoldine maps from the 1700s, located in the heart of one of the most unspoiled valleys of Tuscany, at the foot of Monte Amiata. The property spans 110 hectares around the 18th-century farmhouse, surrounded by woods, olive groves, vineyards, lavender fields, and a large recently planted hazelnut grove. It’s the perfect place to leave behind the chaos of the city and be embraced by nature. At night, the estate enjoys such seclusion that one can admire the stunning starry sky in complete silence, while listening to the sounds of nocturnal animals. La Banditaccia is the ideal place for a relaxing stay, a base for exploring the natural and historical wonders of the area, or a charming venue for private events and celebrations.
